Today I was up pre-dawn to work a 7a-3pshift on the online/multimedia desk for the California International Marathon. Morning light is simply heartening, in a way that only something so fresh and so new could be.

Night Shift, the worm turns
I've worked until midnight or later for the better part of the past twelve years. In that time there have been a select few opportunities to vary from those odd hours. And even fewer chances to see the sunrise on company time.
Today I was up pre-dawn to work a 7a-3pshift on the online/multimedia desk for the California International Marathon. Morning light is simply heartening, in a way that only something so fresh and so new could be.
